FreeBSD and pfSense now available on HVM Cloud Servers!

We’re pleased to announce that starting today, the FreeBSD operating system can now be installed on all HVM Cloud Servers. You can be up and running with your own FreeBSD Cloud Server in just a few minutes!

FreeBSD is now the third major operating system family that we host, alongside Linux and Windows, and to celebrate we’ve thrown together a quick video of the installation process for FreeBSD on a File Sanctuary Cloud Server.

In addition to this, the FreeBSD-powered pfSense router operating system is also available for installation, great for quick and easy VPNs (OpenVPN, IPsec IKEv1, IPsec IKEv2, L2TP over IPsec, stand-alone L2TP and PPTP are all supported out of the box), and for building advanced Software Defined Networking solutions for your other Cloud Servers.
