Your FRITZ!Box Wi-Fi can be protected from unauthorized access with a password. The password can be changed at any time as needed.

Warning: This will disconnect any currently-connected devices from your Wi-Fi network, until you set up each device again with your new Wi-Fi password.
  1. Visit http://fritz.box or http://192.168.178.1 to open the FRITZ!Box user interface
  2. Login with your current admin password
  3. Click on Wi-Fi on the left hand sidebar menu
  4. Click on Security on the left hand sidebar menu
  5. Click on Encryption tab at the top
  6. In the Wi-Fi network key box, enter a new password for your Wi-Fi network
  7. Click on Apply to save the settings
